The Main Hall

The Main Hall is our largest space split over two floors when both the main space (1st Floor) and the balcony (2nd floor) are used the main hall can accommodate up to 730 people theatre style.

The main hall is a flexible space and is most often used for both concerts and conferences, it is also used for gala dinners, expos and art exhibits.

The Main Hall has a fixed stage and a temporary staging rig can be added to provide extra performance space.

The Fixed staging also includes Choir tiering which can accommodate up to 60 people.

The Main Hall Has access to a suite of rooms over two floors immediately behind the stage there are two interconnecting rooms below this there are toilets a kitchen and a larger room, this links to a stairwell and its own external entrance which can be utilised as a separate stage door if required.

 

If you need a screen and projector for your event we have a back projection system which can be controlled from the front or from the sound desk at the back of the Main Hall.

The Main Hall comes equipt with a 22 channel fixed PA, the system also includes 2 lapel microphones, 3 handheld wireless microphones and 4 wired microphones.

  • Run the Box office for your event.
  • Steward your event.
  • Cater your event.
  • Provide additional audiovisual equipment.
  • Hire extra tables.
  • Event Planners.
  • Decorate your event.
  • Take deliveries in advance of your event.
  • Print materials (e.g. programs, name badges) for your event.
If the equipment in situ doesn’t work for your event and you do not have your own equipment or supplier Coventry Central Hall has a preferred supplier who can bring in the additional equipment required.
The Main Hall has a baby grand piano, drum kit and several electrical pianos which can be included in the hire of the space.
